WeChat Gray-Tests AI Writing and Comment Generation in Moments

WeChat is testing two artificial intelligence features in its Moments feed: AI-assisted writing and AI-generated comments. Screenshots from the test show an “AI Writing” button appearing in the Moments composer, enabling users to generate post copy with assistance. The features are linked to WeChat's Xiaowei AI assistant and are currently available only to a portion of users, remaining in a small-scale gray release phase.

WeChat has not announced a full launch date for the features. The test is limited to specific user groups, with the exact scope of availability and subsequent plans still pending official announcement.
