During the reporting period, the company continued to promote refined management. Its live hog production remained broadly stable overall, and farming costs declined year-on-year. A total of 17.8078 million hogs (including live hogs and fresh products) were sold. However, due to the sluggish live hog market, selling prices fell sharply year-on-year. The average selling price of live hogs was RMB 10.50 per kilogram, down 29.67% year-on-year, leading to a significant decline in profit from the hog business.
