Western Gold 2026 H1 Net Profit Up 315.67% to RMB 547 Million
Western Gold reported 2026 first-half revenue of RMB 11.043 billion, up 119.62% year on year, with net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 547 million, a 315.67% increase. Gold output reached 9.66 tonnes, 87.74% of the annual target, while the company proposed a cash dividend of RMB 0.5 per 10 shares.
Western Gold disclosed its semi-annual report on August 24, 2026. In the first half of 2026, the company achieved operating revenue of RMB 11.043 billion, up 119.62% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB 547 million, an increase of 315.67% from the same period in 2025. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 0.6001. The company plans to distribute a cash dividend of RMB 0.5 (pre-tax) for every 10 shares to all shareholders.
During the reporting period, the company produced 9.66 tonnes of gold products (including gold concentrate and calcine metal content), completing 87.74% of the annual plan, an increase of 3.76 tonnes from 5.90 tonnes in the same period of 2025. In addition, the company produced 48,000 tonnes of electrolytic manganese metal and 140,700 tonnes of manganese ore. The change in operating revenue was mainly due to higher gold product sales volume and higher selling prices compared with the same period in 2025.
