Windey Signs Turbine Supply Pact for Ethiopia's AYSHA I Wind Project
Windey Energy Technology Group and AMEA Power have signed a letter of intent for the supply of wind turbines for the AYSHA I wind power project in Ethiopia. The agreement was concluded in Dubai.
The project is Ethiopia's first renewable energy initiative developed under the independent power producer (IPP) model and is currently one of the largest wind power projects in East Africa.
Windey said the cooperation involves the supply of wind turbine equipment. Specific contract terms and project scale have not been disclosed.
