Microsoft has released a new Xbox Insider Preview build to Alpha Skip-Ahead testers, adding several features. The update introduces voice chat recording in game clips, with opt-out controls for group members. Cloud save restore is now available, initially supporting Forza Horizon 6, with more games to follow. Achievement sorting now includes options by name, completion percentage, Gamerscore, and number of unlocked achievements, replacing the previous recently-played-only option. The store wishlist capacity has been raised to 1,000 games.

Microsoft's latest Xbox Insider Preview build has been released to users in the Alpha Skip-Ahead testing ring. The update adds multiple features covering game recording, achievement management, cloud saves, and wishlists. In game capture, the new system supports recording voice chat in clips for the first time, allowing players to choose whether to include group chat audio in their game recordings. If group members opt out of voice capture, their voices will not be recorded, and players who are not in a group can also choose to record in-game chat audio.

The cloud save feature adds a restore option, initially supported by Forza Horizon 6, with expansion to more games later. Players can browse and load historical versions of cloud saves via "Manage game and add-ons > Saved data > Restore saved data" on the console. The achievement system adds multiple sorting options by name, completion percentage, Gamerscore earned, and number of achievements unlocked, breaking the previous limitation of sorting only by "recently played." The store wishlist capacity has been raised to 1,000 games.
