Xinhua Life Fined RMB3.27 Million for Supervision Lapses; Six Staff Penalized RMB490,000

On August 21, 2026, the National Financial Regulatory Administration published penalty notices against Xinhua Life Insurance Co. , Ltd. and related responsible personnel. The notices identified violations including inadequate supervision of trustees' investment conduct and inaccurate expense allocation. In response, regulators issued a warning and imposed a fine of RMB3.27 million on Xinhua Life.

Regulators also issued warnings to responsible individuals Guan Yiqing, Chen Yijiang, Cheng Haiyan, Ma Feng, Zhang Tao and Li Xing, with combined fines of RMB490,000. The penalty decision has been formally announced.
