XtalPi Unit Signs Drug Discovery Pact With Stanford Board of Trustees

XtalPi Holdings said its wholly owned subsidiary LCC Technologies Ltd. has entered a drug discovery collaboration with the Stanford University Board of Trustees. The partnership combines Stanford disease biology research with LCC Technologies' automated, AI-driven small-molecule discovery platform, with no restriction to specific disease areas. New biological insights will be assessed on the proprietary PACE platform. XtalPi Holdings announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, LCC Technologies Ltd. , has entered into a drug discovery collaboration agreement with the Stanford University Board of Trustees.

The collaboration combines Stanford University's disease biology research with LCC Technologies' automated and AI-driven small-molecule drug discovery platform to accelerate and advance new drug development. The collaboration is not limited to any specific disease area.

Under the agreement, new biological insights derived from Stanford University's disease biology research will use LCC Technologies' proprietary PACE drug discovery platform to assess their potential for development into small-molecule therapies. PACE combines fragment-based drug discovery, AI-driven computational design, automated synthesis, and iterative design-make-test-analyze (DMTA) cycles.

Principal investigators at Stanford University will have the opportunity to propose projects based on their research to a joint steering committee established by Stanford University and LCC Technologies. The steering committee will evaluate proposed projects based on scientific merit, feasibility, and potential therapeutic impact, and select the most promising projects for further development toward clinical evaluation and beyond.

On September 18, 2026, shares of XtalPi Holdings (02228) rose more than 10%, reaching an intraday high of HK$7.755, a gain of 12.5%. As of 11:38 am, the shares were at HK$7.74, up 12.3%, with turnover exceeding RMB 650 million.
