Yahua Group Develops New Gas-Solid Synthesis Process for Lithium Sulfide
Yahua Group has developed a new gas-solid synthesis process for lithium sulfide and produced samples with 99-grade purity, Vice Chairman and President Meng Yan said on September 11, 2026, at an investor reception and first-half report briefing in Sichuan. The company also developed a gas-solid two-phase high-precision mixing technology that controls impurity phases in high-purity lithium sulfide at the PPM level. The pilot line has sent samples to customers for trials.
On September 11, 2026, at the 2026 Sichuan region investor online collective reception day and the first-half report results briefing, Meng Yan, Vice Chairman and President of Yahua Group, disclosed that the company has developed a new gas-solid synthesis process for lithium sulfide and has prepared samples with purity reaching 99 grade. The company has also developed a gas-solid two-phase high-precision mixing technology, bringing impurity phases in high-purity lithium sulfide products under control at the PPM level. The related products can meet the requirements of high-performance solid-state batteries for high ionic conductivity and stability.
The pilot line has sent samples to customers for trial use. The company has achieved breakthroughs in key common challenges for lithium sulfide, including hazardous gas control, gas-solid reaction uniformity, and crystal particle size homogenization and refinement.
