Youyan Silicon to Buy Stakes in Two Shandong Units, Shares Resume September 14

Youyan Silicon disclosed a preliminary major asset restructuring plan on September 11, 2026. The company intends to acquire an aggregate 71.89% equity interest in Shandong Youyan Aisi Semiconductor Materials Co. , Ltd. through a combination of share issuance and cash, and a 14.98% equity interest in Shandong Youyan Semiconductor Materials Co. through share issuance, while raising supporting funds. As of the date of the plan's signing, the transaction price has not been finalized.

Upon completion of the transaction, Shandong Youyan Aisi will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Youyan Silicon, and Shandong Youyan Semiconductor will change from a controlled subsidiary to a wholly owned subsidiary. Trading in Youyan Silicon shares will resume at market open on September 14, 2026.

Shandong Youyan Aisi focuses on the research, development, manufacturing, and sale of large silicon wafers for 12-inch integrated circuits. Its core products include semiconductor silicon polished wafers and epitaxial wafers, used in high-end chip manufacturing. Shandong Youyan Semiconductor focuses on the research, development, production, and sale of key upstream silicon materials for integrated circuits, mainly 6-inch and 8-inch silicon polished wafers as well as silicon materials and components for etching equipment. Its products supply leading domestic wafer fabs and semiconductor equipment companies.
