Yunnan Aluminium First in China to Mass-Supply Large-Diameter Aluminium Rods via Continuous Casting and

Yunnan Aluminium recently completed quality testing for large-diameter aluminium round rods with a diameter of 19 mm and a single-coil weight of 2 tonnes. The products have been dispatched to an energy-storage battery production base in the Yangtze River Delta. This makes the company the first in China to use continuous casting and rolling technology to mass-supply such products to the energy-storage sector. The material has achieved import substitution and entered a stage of stable mass production. This product delivery marks substantial progress in the application of large-diameter aluminium round rods in the energy-storage field, further validating the company's mass production capabilities.
