Zhifei Biological's Recombinant Rotavirus Vaccine Gets Clinical Trial Approval

Zhifei Biological announced on September 7 that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Beijing Zhifei Luzhu Biopharmaceutical Co. , Ltd. , has received a drug clinical trial approval notice from the National Medical Products Administration for its recombinant rotavirus subunit vaccine (E. coli). The approval permits the conduct of clinical trials to prevent acute gastroenteritis caused by rotavirus infection.

The vaccine is intended for the prevention of acute gastroenteritis caused by rotavirus infection in infants and children.
