Zhongji Innolight Buys Back 965,600 Shares for RMB 803 Million in Three Sessions

Zhongji Innolight has repurchased approximately 965,600 A-shares for a total of about RMB 803 million over three consecutive trading days, continuing its buyback program. The company announced on September 3 that it bought 233,100 shares that day for RMB 190 million, following purchases of 374,100 shares and 358,400 shares on September 1 and 2, respectively. The overall buyback plan ranges from RMB 4 billion to RMB 8 billion.

Zhongji Innolight has recently accelerated its share buyback program. Since the first repurchase on September 1, the company has conducted buyback operations on three consecutive trading days, accumulating approximately 965,600 shares for a total payment of about RMB 803 million.

On the evening of September 3, Zhongji Innolight announced via the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it repurchased 233,100 A-shares that day through the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, representing 0.021% of its issued shares (excluding treasury shares). The repurchase price ranged from RMB 806.93 to RMB 819 per share, with a total transaction value of RMB 190 million. In the preceding two trading days, the company repurchased 374,100 shares on September 1 and 358,400 shares on September 2, with amounts of RMB 318 million and RMB 295 million, respectively.

On August 31, Zhongji Innolight announced that it planned to repurchase shares using its own funds or self-raised funds, with a total repurchase amount of no less than RMB 4 billion and no more than RMB 8 billion, and a repurchase price not exceeding RMB 1,200 per share. The repurchased shares will be used for employee stock ownership plans or equity incentive plans. If the shares are not fully utilized within the specified period, the unused portion will be cancelled in accordance with the law. The repurchase period is no more than 12 months from the date of board approval.
