Over 10,000 contestants from 20+ countries will compete in the robot competition finals. Key exhibitors include Unitree, Yinhe General, UBTech, and others showcasing advanced robots. The event will have four halls, a new consumer robot street, and a procurement day on August 20.

The 2026 World Robot Conference will be held in Beijing from August 19 to 23, under the theme "Human-Machine Symbiosis, Production and Demand Integration." According to official information, the number of exhibitors exceeds 300, an increase of 36% compared to 2025, with more than 2,000 exhibits and over 150 new products making their debut. More than 10,000 contestants from over 20 countries will participate in the robot competition finals. The conference will feature four halls: the Innovation Hall, the Collaboration Hall, the Manufacturing Hall, and the Fun Hall. The Innovation Hall, newly completed in 2026, covers an area of 20,000 square meters and will mainly display complete machines and humanoid robots. The Collaboration Hall focuses on cooperation between domestic and foreign companies, the Manufacturing Hall showcases core components, and the Fun Hall presents innovative products and entertaining performances.

In terms of complete machine manufacturers, companies such as Zhiyuan, Unitree, Xinghaitu, UBTech, Yinhe General, Fourier, Yuejiang, Zibianliang, Minglue Technology, Vita Power, Yunshenchu, and Jiasu Jinhua will participate. Unitree has already demonstrated its quadruped robot A2, humanoid robot R1, and the GD01 manned deformable mecha, and has launched its self-developed industrial-grade embodied large model UnifoLM-X1-0, which has been piloted in its own factory. Yinhe General, with a valuation exceeding RMB 20 billion, demonstrated its Galbot G1 wheeled dual-arm robot completing a long-sequence breakfast preparation task under continuous disturbances, supported by its self-developed "Galaxy Brain" end-to-end embodied large model. Jiasu Jinhua positions itself as a platform company, providing bodies and development tools. At the 2026 RoboCup World Championship, 38 teams used its robots as competition carriers, sweeping all gold medals in all categories of bipedal humanoid robots.

Yunshenchu Technology holds over 85% market share in the domestic power inspection scenario and over 90% in the fire emergency scenario for quadruped robots, with more than 600 industry projects deployed globally. UBTech has launched the bionic emotional companion robot U1 series, built at a 1:1 human scale, equipped with a self-developed "nurturing" emotional large model with emotion recognition accuracy exceeding 90%. Pre-sales orders have exceeded 13,361 units, with deliveries starting on September 16 and a battery life of approximately 2 to 4 hours. Zhishen Technology has achieved the 10,000th unit of its industry-grade embodied intelligent robot. Its humanoid robot "Pofengzhe RX" completed the 2026 Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Marathon with zero failures, falls, or equipment swaps, and released the MATRiX 2.0 simulation platform.

In the components sector, exhibitors in the Manufacturing Hall include Lüde Harmonic, Wolong Electric Drive, Tongchuan, Xinjian, Wuzhou Xinchun, Mingzhi Electric, Leisai Intelligent, Xiangming Intelligent, Weichuang Power, and Nanfang Precision. Lüde Harmonic is a leading domestic harmonic reducer company, with the largest domestic market share and second globally, and its order book extends to 2027. Shuanghuan Transmission's main products include RV reducers and planetary roller screws, with a 2026 robot business order target exceeding RMB 1.5 billion and a production capacity plan of 500,000 units. Sanhua Intelligent Controls is the exclusive supplier of rotary joints for Tesla's Optimus, with a value of approximately RMB 28,000 to 30,000 per unit. Lingxin Qiaoshou focuses on dexterous hands, holding over 80% of the global market share for high-degree-of-freedom dexterous hands, with a self-developed core component rate of 93%, and a valuation of approximately RMB 24 billion.

Among automakers, Mojia Robot, a subsidiary of the Chery Group, has confirmed its participation, with products including the humanoid robot "Moyin" and the quadruped robot dog "Argos." The company plans to launch six additional products within the year. From January to May 2026, cumulative retail sales of passenger cars in China reached 7.15 million units, down 19% year-on-year, and the profit margin of the automotive industry fell to 3.4%. Automakers need new growth drivers, and robotics can share technology with the automotive sector.

The conference features a "tech-driven event" characteristic, with robots handling tasks such as greeting, reception, security checks, guidance, and disinfection, and is integrated with a humanoid robot full-lifecycle management service platform. For the first time in 2026, a robot consumer street will be introduced, featuring robot chefs preparing co-branded meals and selling mascot merchandise. August 20 has been designated as procurement day to facilitate business transactions.
