Solid-state batteries have yet to achieve mass production, and the long-standing solid-solid contact problem remains the core challenge constraining industrialization. Warm isostatic pressing is regarded by the industry as one of the key methods to break through this issue, and research and development of related equipment and processes is progressing. At present, some equipment makers have begun shipping warm isostatic pressing units, while other companies are establishing positions in this field. Equipment suppliers and battery manufacturers are jointly conducting technical research to address the challenge.

On the equipment supply front, companies including Liyuanheng and Lead Intelligent have shipped warm isostatic pressing equipment, while Kexin Mechanical & Electrical, Huazi Technology and Rongqi Technology have also established related business operations. The parties are collaborating on equipment stability and process control to advance the industrialization of solid-state batteries.
