The exhibition, themed "New Quality Without Boundaries · Symbiotic Future," aims to break down industrial, technological, and geographical boundaries, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and products across the entire industry chain.

Su Zimeng, president of the China Construction Machinery Association, stated at the press conference that in the first half of 2026, revenue from key enterprises under the association grew 15.5% year-on-year, notably faster than the growth rates in 2024 and 2025. Among 12 product categories, 10 achieved positive year-on-year growth. On exports, China's construction machinery trade volume reached $35.627 billion in the first half of 2026, up 20.5% year-on-year, with exports amounting to $34.373 billion, a 21.7% increase. New energy machinery maintained robust momentum, with cumulative sales of electric loaders by major industry enterprises reaching 25,445 units, up 82.4%, and electric excavators totaling 321 units, up 129%.

Under the dual-venue model, the Shanghai New International Expo Centre will serve as the core platform for the entire construction machinery industry chain, highlighting large machinery, mining and building materials equipment, construction vehicles, and components. The Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center will focus on future technologies and industrial ecosystems, hosting core forums and dynamic product demonstrations. Both venues will use unified ticketing with a single pass for entry, supported by frequent free shuttle buses, along with digital tools such as an exhibition mini-program and an AI customer-service assistant.

The exhibition has attracted leading global players, including Caterpillar, Wirtgen Group, Komatsu, and Fayat Group, as well as domestic manufacturers such as XCMG, SANY, Zoomlion, Shantui, SDLG, LiuGong, and Zhejiang Dingli, with several companies planning to appear at both venues. During the event, multiple forums will be held on topics including technological innovation, overseas expansion, green electrification, and new mining practices, including the Technology Innovation Conference and the Marketing and Go-Global Conference co-organized with the China Construction Machinery Association, as well as the 2026 Construction Machinery Electrification and Green Development Conference and the GAF Attachment Ecosystem Development Conference.

The exhibition has launched a global buyer invitation program, targeting professional purchasing groups from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the Americas, while coordinating with domestic core associations and trade institutions for visitor organization. The XCMG exhibition representative said the company will showcase new intelligent, new-energy, and green-construction equipment alongside scenario-based solutions. The SANY representative noted that 2026 marks the company's 40th anniversary, and through a dual-venue, four-zone layout spanning nearly 10,000 square meters, it will present its latest equipment and technological achievements, with the new brand slogan "Forging the Future Together" officially unveiled during the exhibition.
