Beijing Haidian Brain-Computer Interface Cluster Unveiled, Hosting Over 30 Core Firms

Beijing's Haidian district has gathered more than 30 core brain-computer interface companies, accounting for nearly 60% of the national total. The district has formed a complete innovation chain spanning basic research, technology development, product R&D, and clinical application. At the 2026 annual conference of the Zhongguancun Forum, the Zhongguancun (Haidian) Brain-Computer Interface Industry Cluster was officially unveiled. It has attracted more than 20 brain-computer interface projects and established an AI-plus-brain-computer interface standard testing and verification laboratory.

The cluster will next focus on integrated innovation of artificial intelligence and brain-computer interfaces, promoting industrial agglomeration across full-track innovation projects such as neural medicine, industrial safety, rehabilitation devices, flexible electrodes, and brain data platforms. The goal is to build a globally competitive brain-computer interface industry innovation cluster.
