Cheung Kong's Ying Tian at 21 Borrett Road Records Two-Flat Sale Near HK$300 Million

A major transaction was recorded at Ying Tian, Phase 2 of the super luxury project at 21 Borrett Road in the Mid-Levels on Hong Kong Island. A single buyer purchased two four-bedroom units, each with dual en-suite bathrooms and a storage room, for a total price close to HK$300 million. Of these, Unit 1109, sold by tender, has a saleable area of 2,137 square feet and fetched over HK$142 million, or HK$66,500 per square foot. The other unit, Unit 1209, also with a saleable area of 2,137 square feet, achieved a price of over HK$148 million, or HK$69,608 per square foot.

The two units share the same orientation and are on consecutive floors. The buyer is a high-end client. The developer said it has recently received many inquiries about purchasing more than one unit, with buyers focusing on the project's location and the design feature of the same orientation for high privacy. Following this transaction, supply of new luxury homes in the Mid-Levels area has tightened, and such scarce resources have become a focus for some families and well-capitalized buyers.
