China Proposes First Global Solid-State Battery Standard, Approved by IEC

The world's first international standard in the field of solid-state batteries has recently been successfully registered with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), with the standard proposed by China. This registration marks a phased advancement in the standardization process for solid-state battery technology, providing a unified normative foundation for subsequent technical verification and industrial application. The IEC is an authoritative organization that develops international standards for electrical and electronic fields, and the registration of a standard requires multiple rounds of technical review and consultation among member countries.
