China's 8th Grain Trade Conference Opens in Changsha with 24,000 Grain Firms

The 8th China Grain Trade Conference opened on September 5 in Changsha, Hunan Province. Liu Huanxin, director of the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, said at the event that China now has 24,000 grain enterprises nationwide, with combined annual industrial output value exceeding RMB 4 trillion. More than one-third of provinces each report output value above RMB 100 billion.

Nationwide, 33 provincial-level regional public brands and 117 city- and county-level regional grain brands have been established.
