CRRC CR450 Prototypes Complete 600,000 km Trial, Continue Testing on Xiongshang High-Speed Rail
China's CRRC has completed the 600,000 km operational assessment for its CR450AF and CR450BF bullet train prototypes, the world's fastest commercial high-speed trains with a design speed of 400 km/h. China State Railway Group announced on August 5 that the prototypes passed assessment on the Chongqing-Guizhou section of the Yuxia high-speed railway and will continue remaining tests on the Xiongshang high-speed railway. The completion of key operational assessment stages lays the groundwork for commercial operation, with further testing to follow after line construction and joint commissioning.
