The fifth Dishui Lake China RISC-V Industry Forum was held on August 13, 2026, promoting domestic RISC-V chip industrialization and application innovation. Over 40 chips have been introduced cumulatively across five editions, with more than 90% achieving mass production, spanning consumer electronics, smart homes, wearables, communications, automotive, and industrial control sectors.

The fifth Dishui Lake China RISC-V Industry Forum was held on August 13, 2026, in Lingang New Area. The forum is aimed at advancing the industrialization and application innovation of domestic RISC-V chips. Dai Weimin, chairman of the Shanghai Open Processor Industry Innovation Center, stated that the Dishui Lake Forum has been successfully held four times previously. Each edition has introduced approximately ten new domestic RISC-V chips that represent advanced IC design capabilities in China and closely align with market demand.

Among the more than 40 products showcased cumulatively at the forum, the overall mass production rate has exceeded 90%. These chips are widely used across multiple fields, including consumer electronics, smart homes, wearable devices, communications, automotive, and industrial control. This mass production achievement indicates that domestic RISC-V chips are transitioning from the stage of technological innovation to large-scale application and have achieved practical deployment in several industries. The open instruction set architecture represented by RISC-V has become an important technical foundation for the ubiquitous computing and interconnection of all things in the era of artificial intelligence.
