First Robot 4S Store in Yangtze Delta Opens in Jianhu, Jiangsu

Published: Updated: By 24TopNews Editorial Desk

Jianhu County in Jiangsu Province has opened the Yangtze River Delta’s first robot 4S store, located at the entrance of its local robot industrial park. The 1,600-square-meter showroom features 73 robot brands and over 1,100 products, offering display, sales, rental, and repair services to bridge the gap between numerous exhibits and limited practical applications in the industry.

Jianhu County in Jiangsu Province recently opened the first robot 4S store in the Yangtze River Delta region. Located at the entrance of the local robot industrial park, the store features a 1,600-square-meter showroom covering 73 robot brands and more than 1,100 products. It provides display, sales, rental, and repair services, including group robot dances, interactive companion robot dogs, and live demonstrations of cooking and caregiving robots, making complex technology perceptible and tangible. The model borrows the service logic of automobile 4S stores to alleviate the supply-demand contradiction in the robot industry, where there are many exhibits but fewer practical products. It aims to help tech startups reach the market while offering traditional manufacturers and institutional users direct model comparisons and after-sales support.

The establishment of the robot 4S store is linked to Jianhu County’s forward-looking industrial planning. While other localities were still observing, Jianhu had already planned and built a robot industrial park, attracting projects from companies such as Pudu, Haisou, Youdi, Liuyedao, and Muyi, laying an industrial foundation. As the first complete output sample of the Beijing Yizhuang Robot Mall model, the store not only showcases industrial robots from local enterprises but also introduces leading domestic humanoid robot brands, addressing factory technology upgrade needs while conducting public science education. The store has been selected as one of the first batch of artificial intelligence terminal experience centers in Jiangsu Province, becoming a key node for supply-demand matching in the Yangtze River Delta robot market.

The robot industry is still in its early stages, with rapid hardware iteration and frequent software updates, as well as significant differences in customized needs across various industry scenarios, placing higher demands on the 4S store’s operation and maintenance capabilities. The core value of a robot 4S store lies in demand matching, technical services, and market cultivation, rather than relying solely on short-term equipment sales revenue. The development of this business model must integrate commercial and industrial logic, fostering the industrial ecosystem by linking supply and demand, enabling more robots to move from showrooms into practical application scenarios, and promoting the large-scale development of the robot industry.
