On September 14, 2026, at the border of Jingtai county and Jingyuan county in Baiyin, Gansu province, the Gansu-to-Zhejiang plus-or-minus 800-kilovolt ultra-high-voltage direct-current transmission project completed stringing work for its Yellow River crossing after the last 900-millimeter four-bundle extra-strong steel-core high-strength aluminum-alloy conductor was positioned.
The Gansu section of the Gansu power-to-Zhejiang project has now been fully completed.
