Hunan issues policy to boost intelligent robot industry, targets RMB 100 billion revenue by 2028
The Hunan Provincial People's Government has issued implementation opinions to accelerate the intelligent robot industry, targeting industry chain revenue above RMB 100 billion by 2028. The plan covers industrial robots, service and consumer robots, and special-operation robots, with a closed-loop chain integrating materials, core components, R&D, pilot testing, intelligent manufacturing, applications and data. It also sets a 2030 target of RMB 200 billion in revenue and aims to cultivate about five leading chain enterprises by 2028 and about ten by 2030.
