On August 11, Jiangsu Province and China Datang Corporation signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Jiangsu Provincial Party Secretary Xin Changxing and Governor Liu Xiaotao met with China Datang Chairman Lv Jun and General Manager Li Xiangliang. The two sides exchanged views on accelerating the construction of major energy projects, enhancing the supply capacity of green power, and promoting energy technology innovation and industrial development. Datang said it will implement the national plan for building a new energy system and a new power system during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, closely follow Jiangsu's development needs, and continue to deepen pragmatic cooperation.
