Over Ten Chinese Securities Firms Roll Out AI Skills for Research, Stock Selection and Risk Control
More than ten Chinese securities firms, including CICC, Guotai Haitong, Huatai Securities and GF Securities, have launched AI Skills that package financial expertise into standardized, callable function units. The skills span research, stock selection, ETF screening and risk control across retail wealth management, institutional research and internal operations. Since July, SDIC Securities, Caida Securities, Industrial Securities and Caixin Securities have accelerated deployments, with Guotai Haitong deploying over 30 research Skills on its NovaStation platform. Retail investors can access the skills through broker apps, third-party agent platforms or API-key import, with all outputs subject to review by licensed personnel.
Multiple securities firms have recently launched AI Skills capabilities in rapid succession, packaging financial expertise into standardized, callable skill units. CICC, Guotai Haitong, Huatai Securities, GF Securities, Guosen Securities, CSC Financial and CICC Wealth are among the institutions that have rolled out related applications. Since July, SDIC Securities, Caida Securities, Industrial Securities and Caixin Securities have also completed new deployments. AI Skills, or agent skills, package mature system capabilities into reusable function packages that AI can identify, invoke and execute. Their functions span general scenarios such as weather queries, PPT generation and schedule management, as well as financial professional scenarios including market quote queries, target screening, research report interpretation, ETF holding penetration, financial indicator comparison, smart stock selection and strategy backtesting.
In business applications, Skills are divided into three segments: C-end wealth management, institutional research and internal middle- and back-office operations. For retail investors, Guosen Securities has launched six Skills covering smart stock selection, ETF screening, fund comparison, macro indicator retrieval, market analysis and financial data extraction. Ping An Securities' market quote Skill directly outputs a complete market profile. CSC Financial has built the Dragonfly Skill Plaza, where users can complete data calculations and output results through natural language commands. On the institutional research front, CICC has packaged its analysts' research methodology into proprietary Skills supporting earnings forecasts, valuation breakdowns and event-driven analysis. Guotai Haitong's NovaStation platform has deployed more than 30 research-specific Skills covering research report retrieval, list generation and multi-dimensional data backtesting. Huatai Securities has launched two Skills systems for institutional and retail clients. GF Securities has built a Skills matrix extending into customer service, operations support and compliance risk control.
Since July, multiple firms have accelerated their deployments. In early August, Soochow Securities' quantitative team published a special research report and launched four professional research Skills in quantitative trading, active research and fund research. On July 31, Caixin Securities released its self-developed Skills integrating financial diagnosis, hot news and market quote functions. On July 29, Caida Securities launched its Stock Connect Skills Center, emphasizing low-barrier operation. In the same month, Industrial Securities launched its Xingzheng Zhida Skill Hub, a unified skills platform serving its internal advisory system. Western Securities' VSignals Skills integrate financial risk control and quantitative screening functions. On July 3, SDIC Securities launched four AI Skills tools including smart stock selection and market data, supporting lightweight deployment.
Retail investors can install and use Skills in three ways. First, they can enable them directly in brokers' official apps, such as GF Securities' Yitaojin app and Huatai Securities' AI Zhangle app, invoking built-in functions through AI assistants. Second, they can install them through third-party agent platforms, entering the skill marketplaces of Huawei Xiaoyi, Tencent Coze and ByteDance Kouzi to search for and install the relevant broker's financial Skills. Third, they can register and import via API key, copying the broker-provided Skill configuration file and importing it into agent tools that support the Skills specification, such as OpenClaw or Claude Code. All Skills outputs must be reviewed and confirmed by licensed personnel to comply with financial regulatory requirements.
