Zibo Unveils 2026-2028 AI Plus Manufacturing Action Plan

Nine departments in Zibo have jointly formulated the Zibo Artificial Intelligence Plus Manufacturing Action Plan (2026-2028). The plan proposes that by 2028, Zibo will fully build a pioneering application hub for artificial intelligence plus manufacturing in Shandong Province.

On technology supply, the plan specifies the cumulative construction of more than 10 industrial large models, at least three industry corpora, and more than 10 industrial AI agents. On integrated applications, it calls for creating more than 50 application scenarios and cultivating more than 200 intelligent factories cumulatively, with the intelligence level of key enterprises in major industries reaching the advanced domestic level. On ecosystem development, it aims to build six artificial intelligence capability centers and one embodied-intelligence robot training ground, essentially completing a full-chain service system covering technology research and development, achievement transformation, scenario validation, and promotion and application.
