29 Countries Sign Agreement to Establish World AI Cooperation Organization at 2026 Shanghai WAIC

During the 2026 Shanghai World Artificial Intelligence Conference, representatives from 29 countries signed the Agreement on Establishing the World AI Cooperation Organization. In recent years, China has promoted international cooperation in artificial intelligence by exporting computing power, technology, and industry experience to help partner countries build digital infrastructure such as data centers, communication networks, and new energy power supply. The cooperation covers multiple regions including Asia, Africa, and Latin America, focusing on talent training, infrastructure construction, technology exchange, and industrial applications.

China has accumulated a complete industry chain in data centers, communication networks, and new energy power supply, offering integrated solutions from construction to operation. What is exported is not just servers but a complete computing system. An increasing number of Chinese large models and development tools are becoming open-source, enabling partner countries to leverage mature technologies for local innovation without substantial R&D investment. China’s accumulated industrial practices in agriculture, manufacturing, energy, healthcare, and government affairs help partner countries reduce trial-and-error costs and accelerate digital transformation.

The benefits of artificial intelligence infrastructure are long-term. Once data centers are operational, they can serve government governance, agriculture, energy, manufacturing, and other sectors, continuously improving local productivity.
