Bank of China Beijing Branch to Add RMB 100 Billion in AI Credit Over Three Years
The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services in Beijing hosted a finance forum on AI-era industry, capital and technology, drawing participants from regulators, industry and finance. Bank of China Beijing Branch, which has built a full-chain product matrix covering science and technology firms from incubation to maturity, plans to add RMB 100 billion in AI credit over the next three years on top of its existing RMB 150 billion in AI industry loans.
The financial services exhibition area of the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services displayed innovative financial products including computing power loans and computing power insurance. During the 2026 fair, a series of forums on finance supporting high-quality development of the real economy was held under the theme "Symbiosis with the New: Industry, Capital and Technology in the AI Era." Participants came from the regulatory, industrial and financial sectors, and topics included the new changes AI brings to the financial industry, financial support for value applications of the AI industry, and the symbiotic development of AI and finance. The outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan calls for fully implementing the "AI Plus" initiative.
Bank of China Beijing Branch has built a full-chain product matrix covering science and technology innovation enterprises at every stage: incubation, pilot testing, scale-up testing, growth and maturity. The branch launched a science and technology innovation computing power loan to specifically support AI computing power construction and procurement scenarios. The branch plans to add RMB 100 billion in credit over the next three years on top of its existing RMB 150 billion in AI industry loans.
