Beijing Issues Airport Economic Zone Plan Targeting RMB 620B Revenue by 2030

Beijing has released the 15th Five-Year Plan for the Capital Airport Airport Economic Zone, targeting RMB 620 billion in park revenue by 2030. The plan sets 21 core indicators across five dimensions, including RMB 4 billion in district-level general public budget revenue and RMB 200 billion in annual import-export value at Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Zone. The "1+4" industrial system is expected to grow around 10% annually.

The 15th Five-Year Plan for the Capital Airport Airport Economic Zone has been officially released. The plan outlines efforts over the next five years to promote high-quality development of the "1+4" industrial system, centered on aviation services and supported by healthcare, airport-area smart manufacturing, logistics and trade, and business consumption. The goal is to build a leading airport economic zone and a first-class international airport city.

The plan establishes 21 core indicators across five dimensions: hub, scale, industry, innovation, and quality. Specific targets include achieving RMB 620 billion in park revenue by 2030, RMB 4 billion in district-level general public budget revenue, and RMB 200 billion in annual import-export value at Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Zone. The "1+4" industrial system is expected to maintain an average annual growth rate of around 10%, with Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Zone remaining in the top tier of performance evaluations. High-tech industry revenue is projected to grow by more than 10% annually, further strengthening the zone's role in leading the high-quality development of Shunyi Plain New City.
