Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Jan-Jul 2026 Trade Hits Record RMB 3.05 Trillion, Up 15.6%
In the first seven months of 2026, foreign trade in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region reached a record RMB 3.05 trillion, up 15.6% year on year. Exports rose 12% to RMB 909.56 billion, while imports grew 17.2% to RMB 2.14 trillion. Monthly trade exceeded RMB 450 billion for four straight months since April, with positive growth each month. General trade expanded 7.9% to RMB 2.19 trillion, and bonded logistics surged 61.4% to RMB 434.95 billion, lifting its share to 14.3%.
In the first seven months of 2026, the total import and export value of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region reached RMB 3.05 trillion, up 15.6% year on year, setting a historic high for the same period. Exports amounted to RMB 909.56 billion, an increase of 12%, while imports reached RMB 2.14 trillion, up 17.2%. Since April 2026, the region's monthly import and export value has exceeded RMB 450 billion for four consecutive months, with positive month-on-month growth, indicating a stable foreign trade performance.
In terms of trade patterns, general trade reached RMB 2.19 trillion, up 7.9%, continuing to underpin the overall trade volume. Bonded logistics trade totaled RMB 434.95 billion, surging 61.4%, and its share rose 4 percentage points from the same period in 2025 to 14.3%, showing strong momentum.
