China-APEC Trade Hits RMB18.03 Trillion in First Seven Months of 2026, Up 21%

In the first seven months of 2026, China's total imports and exports with other APEC economies reached RMB18.03 trillion, a 21% year-on-year increase. This growth outpaced China's overall merchandise trade during the period. The figures were released at the 2026 APEC Customs and Business Dialogue. The Asia-Pacific region now accounts for over 60% of global economic output and nearly half of world trade, with China-APEC trade continuing to expand.

During the first seven months of 2026, China's total imports and exports with other APEC economies reached RMB18.03 trillion, up 21% year on year. At present, the Asia-Pacific region accounts for more than 60% of the global economy and nearly half of global trade. Trade between China and other APEC economies has continued to grow.
