China's 2026 Jan-Jul Foreign Trade Reaches 30.08 Trillion Yuan; Private Firms Hold 56.9% Share
On August 7, the General Administration of Customs released statistical data showing that in the first seven months of 2026, China's foreign trade import and export value reached RMB 30.08 trillion. Private enterprises recorded imports and exports of RMB 17.16 trillion, up 17.2% year on year, accounting for 56.9% of the total, thereby maintaining their position as the largest trading entity.
During the same period, foreign-invested enterprises saw imports and exports of RMB 8.78 trillion, up 17.6%, while state-owned enterprises posted RMB 4.14 trillion, up 17.3%.
