China's Equipment Manufacturing Output Up 9.3% in H1 2026
In the first half of 2026, China's equipment manufacturing industry saw a 9.3% year-on-year increase in value added, while high-tech manufacturing grew by 13.3%. Both sectors outpaced the overall industrial output growth, which rose by 5.4%.

These growth rates were 3.9 and 7.9 percentage points faster, respectively, than the growth of value added for all industries above a designated size.
