China's July High-Tech Manufacturing Value-Added Up 16.9% YoY; IC Manufacturing Up 109.3%
In July, value-added output of high-tech manufacturing above designated size increased by 16.9% year on year, accelerating by 2.8 percentage points from the previous month. By sector, value-added output of integrated circuit manufacturing, aircraft manufacturing, special equipment manufacturing for the electronics industry, and electronic special materials manufacturing rose by 109.3%, 38.3%, 34.8% and 30.8%, respectively.
By product, driven by artificial intelligence, output of sensors, memory chips, electronic components and optical fiber increased by 35.3%, 30.2%, 23.4% and 21.1%, respectively. In the rapidly developing robotics sector, output of industrial robots and robot reducers rose by 30.2% and 22.7%, respectively.
