China's Social Logistics Volume Hits RMB 214.5 Trillion in First Seven Months of 2026

China's total social logistics volume reached RMB 214.5 trillion in the first seven months of 2026, up 5.0% year on year, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. Industrial product logistics grew 5.3%, while manufacturing-related demand rose 5.5% in July. Equipment manufacturing logistics surged 12.3% and high-tech manufacturing logistics jumped 16.9%. Import logistics increased 1.8%.

Data released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing showed that the total social logistics volume in China reached RMB 214.5 trillion in the first seven months of 2026, up 5.0% year on year.

During the January-July period, the logistics volume of industrial products increased by 5.3% year on year. In July, logistics demand related to the manufacturing sector grew by 5.5% year on year, 1.0 percentage point higher than the growth rate for all industrial product logistics. By segment, logistics demand for equipment manufacturing rose 12.3% year on year, while logistics demand related to high-tech manufacturing increased by 16.9%.

In terms of import logistics, the total volume of imported goods in the first seven months grew by 1.8% year on year. Logistics volumes for high-tech products and mechanical and electrical products continued to show rapid growth.
