China's Software Revenue Hits RMB 8.98 Trillion in First Seven Months of 2026
China's software business revenue reached RMB 8.9785 trillion in the first seven months of 2026, up 9.2% year on year, while software exports totaled USD 40.61 billion, a 12.2% increase. Segment data showed software product revenue rose 6.3%, IT services revenue grew 10%, and information security revenue increased 6.2%.
In the first seven months of 2026, China's software business revenue reached RMB 8.9785 trillion, a year-on-year increase of 9.2%. Software exports amounted to USD 40.61 billion, up 12.2% from the same period last year.
By segment, revenue from software products grew 6.3% year on year, with basic software products rising 9.4% and industrial software products up 8.4%. Revenue from information technology services increased 10%, including a 12.3% rise in cloud computing and big data services and a 21.5% jump in integrated circuit design revenue. Revenue from information security products and services grew 6.2%.
