First-Half Tax Revenue Exceeds RMB 10 Trillion, Up 4.9%; Total Fees and Taxes at RMB 16.7 Trillion

The State Council Information Office held a press conference this morning. A senior official from the State Taxation Administration said that in the first half of this year, tax authorities collected a total of RMB 16.7 trillion in fees and taxes. Tax revenue exceeded RMB 10 trillion, up 4.9% year-on-year. Social insurance premium revenue amounted to RMB 4.5 trillion, and non-tax revenue reached RMB 1.8 trillion.
