Fitch Affirms US Sovereign Rating at AA+ with Stable Outlook
Rating agency Fitch confirmed the US sovereign credit rating at "AA+" and maintained a "stable" outlook. Fitch said the United States possesses a large economic scale, a relatively high level of per capita income, and the status of the US dollar as the world's primary reserve currency.
Despite headwinds including higher tariffs, government spending cuts, tighter border controls, and rising policy uncertainty, the US economy has continued to show considerable resilience, reflecting its capacity to absorb external shocks and undergo economic adjustment.
