The Guangdong vehicle southbound policy, extended to nine mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area, is approaching its one-month mark. As of August 10, cumulative vehicle crossings through the Zhuhai highway port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge had exceeded 25 million.
Amap, the mapping unit of Alibaba Group, has fully upgraded its travel services for the southbound policy. Drivers can now view official travel guidance issued by the Hong Kong Transport Department directly within the Amap application.
