Hefei's H1 2026 GDP Reaches 707.3 Billion Yuan, Up 6.8% Year-on-Year
Hefei's economy in the first six months of 2026 expanded 6.8% year-on-year to 707.3 billion yuan, driven by growth across all three sectors. The primary sector grew 2.2% to 11.88 billion yuan, the secondary sector rose 10.3% to 255.24 billion yuan, and the tertiary sector increased 5.0% to 440.18 billion yuan. The secondary sector posted the strongest growth.
In the first half of 2026, Hefei's GDP reached 707.3 billion yuan, up 6.8% year-on-year. By sector, the primary sector added 11.88 billion yuan, up 2.2%; the secondary sector contributed 255.24 billion yuan, up 10.3%; and the tertiary sector generated 440.18 billion yuan, up 5.0%.
