Inner Mongolia Officials Urge China Energy Engineering to Boost Energy, Water Investment
Wang Weizhong, Party secretary of Inner Mongolia, and Bao Gang, chairman of the regional government, met Ni Zhen, chairman of China Energy Engineering Group, in Hohhot on August 10. The two sides discussed infrastructure construction and energy project cooperation. Inner Mongolia called for increased investment in energy and water projects, with a focus on green hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, and new energy storage initiatives.
On August 10, Wang Weizhong, Party secretary of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region and chairman of its standing committee of the people's congress, and Bao Gang, deputy Party secretary and chairman of the regional government, met with Ni Zhen, Party secretary and chairman of China Energy Engineering Group, in Hohhot. The two sides exchanged views on infrastructure construction and energy project cooperation. Inner Mongolia expressed hope that the group would increase investment in energy and water projects and develop green hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, and new energy storage projects.
