A government spokesman explained that the prices for the first and second gasoline quotas, which cover monthly usage of up to 110 litres, remain unchanged. However, the third quota, which applies to consumption beyond 110 litres, will now cost 100,000 Iranian rials per litre.
The spokesman reiterated that the price increase affects only consumers who use more than 110 litres per month, a measure driven by current circumstances. Other motorists can still purchase up to 60 litres of gasoline at 15,000 rials per litre, followed by an additional 50 litres at 30,000 rials per litre.
