On August 12, Jilin Governor Hu Yuting chaired a meeting on high-quality development of listed companies, reviewing an action plan for state-owned and state-controlled listed firms. The meeting emphasized project-based implementation, market value management, and innovation to boost core competitiveness. It also called for strengthened government-enterprise coordination, targeted support, and better resource allocation to channel quality assets toward leading listed companies, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
On August 12, Hu Yuting, Deputy Secretary of the Jilin Provincial Committee and Governor of the province, chaired a special meeting on the high-quality development of listed companies. The meeting reviewed the action plan for the high-quality development of state-owned and state-controlled listed companies, discussed key issues, and outlined next steps. It was proposed to advance work through a project-based and engineering approach, grasp the dynamics of the capital market, strengthen market value management, support enterprises in enhancing their competitive advantages in core businesses, boost technological innovation capabilities, and actively develop a "second growth curve."
The meeting also required precise and effective services, establishing a regular government-enterprise joint working mechanism to promptly track corporate developments, listen to enterprise demands, and help companies resolve bottlenecks and difficulties. Furthermore, it called for optimizing the allocation of resources among listed companies, directing quality assets and advantageous resources toward leading listed companies, and improving operational efficiency and profitability.
