Ministry Dispatches 13 Drainage Teams to Zhoukou, Henan with 220,000 Cubic Meters Per Hour Capacity

The Ministry of Emergency Management has dispatched 13 drainage teams to Zhoukou, Henan, to carry out flood drainage operations. To assist with urban drainage in Zhoukou, the ministry mobilized forces from Henan, Shaanxi, Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong and Hunan, including the ministry's National Engineering Emergency Rescue Center (China Anneng), eight national work safety emergency drainage units, the Shaanxi mobile drainage team, and teams from XCMG, Jiaozuo Huayu and Hunan Diwo. The combined drainage capacity of the 13 teams is approximately 220,000 cubic meters per hour.

All rescue forces arrived in Zhoukou by 9:00 a. m. on the 16th and have been deployed for drainage operations.
