Ministry of Finance Plans Second Reissuance of 100 Billion Yuan 7-Year Fixed Coupon Bonds at 1.56%
China's Ministry of Finance plans a second reissuance of 100 billion yuan in 7-year book-entry fixed coupon treasury bonds, with a coupon rate of 1.56%. The competitive bidding will take place on August 7, 2026, with interest accruing from June 15, 2026, and maturity on June 15, 2033. Class A members are eligible for additional bids.
The Ministry of Finance plans a second reissuance of the 2026 book-entry fixed coupon treasury bonds (12th issue). The reissuance consists of 7-year fixed rate coupon bonds with a competitive bidding face value of RMB 100 billion, and Class A members are allowed to place additional bids. The coupon rate for the reissuance is the same as the previous issue of the same tenor, at 1.56%.
The interest start date and payment arrangements are identical to the previous issue. Interest accrues from June 15, 2026, and is paid annually on June 15 (postponed if it falls on a holiday). The principal and final interest payment will be made on June 15, 2033. The bidding time is set for August 7, 2026, from 10:35 to 11:35 AM.
