NEEQ Training Urges Compliance, Better Disclosure From Nearly 200 Listed Companies

The National Equities Exchange and Quotations Co. , Ltd. held a special training session on standardized operations for listed companies in Jinan, Shandong, attended by nearly 200 company representatives. A deputy director of the Shandong Securities Regulatory Bureau attended and addressed the event. The training aimed to strengthen compliance awareness among key company personnel, prevent fund embezzlement and other violations, and raise governance standards. Companies were urged to prioritize compliance over growth, improve information disclosure quality, and use innovation and government-business communication channels to resolve issues.

A deputy director of the Shandong Securities Regulatory Bureau attended the event and delivered a speech. The training was designed to strengthen compliance awareness among key personnel of listed companies, prevent such violations as fund embezzlement, and raise the level of standardized corporate operations.

The meeting set out specific requirements for listed companies. Key personnel should promptly change their mindset, abandon the erroneous approach of prioritizing growth over compliance, and are strictly prohibited from encroaching on company interests through any means. At the same time, they must substantively improve the quality of information disclosure by telling the truth and keeping accurate accounts, without embellishing performance, defrauding the market, or misleading small and medium-sized investors. In addition, companies should capitalize on their industrial endowment advantages, deepen their presence in specialized segments, and secure competitive advantages through active innovation. They should also use government-business communication platforms to report problems in a timely manner and drive effective resolution.

The training invited relevant experts to deliver special lectures on topics including the latest regulatory policies for listed companies, prevention of fund embezzlement, and improvement of internal control systems. The Shandong Securities Regulatory Bureau explained the law through cases, conducting in-depth analysis of violations by some listed companies to help participating representatives understand regulatory requirements and compliance bottom lines.

The Shandong Securities Regulatory Bureau said it will continue to exercise strict supervision in accordance with the law and take multiple measures to enhance public company awareness among listed companies in its jurisdiction, cementing the bottom line of standardized operations and compliant management.
