A-Share Interim Dividend Plans Top RMB 93.16 Billion; China Mobile Leads with RMB 54.43 Billion
More than 100 A-share companies have unveiled interim dividend plans for the first half of 2026, with combined payouts reaching RMB 93.162 billion as of August 15. China Mobile leads with a dividend of RMB 54.426 billion, representing 68.95% of its attributable net profit. CATL plans RMB 6.488 billion, about 15% of its first-half net profit, while Hikvision ranks third with RMB 5.041 billion. The chemicals sector is the most active, with 14 companies announcing plans, followed by machinery with 11. Several firms issued dividend proposals ahead of their interim reports, mostly initiated by controlling shareholders or chairmen.
By August 15, 2026, more than 100 A-share companies had released their interim profit distribution plans for the first half of 2026, with total dividends reaching RMB 93.162 billion. As interim report disclosures enter their peak period, dividend proposals have been announced in succession, covering communications, new energy, electronics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, power, food and beverage, and financials.
China Mobile plans a dividend of RMB 2.51 per share, which, based on total share capital as of June 30, amounts to RMB 54.426 billion, ranking first. The company posted first-half 2026 revenue of RMB 538.035 billion and attributable net profit of RMB 78.934 billion, with the dividend representing 68.95% of net profit. CATL plans a dividend of RMB 1.411 per share, totaling RMB 6.488 billion, approximately 15% of its first-half attributable net profit. Hikvision ranks third with a dividend of RMB 5.041 billion.
Hengyi Petrochemical, Baofeng Energy, Dongpeng Beverage and Deye each plan interim dividends exceeding RMB 2 billion, while Zangge Mining, WuXi AppTec and Huadian Power International plan dividends of at least RMB 1 billion. In terms of per-share payout, Gigabit leads with RMB 10 per share, for a total dividend of RMB 718 million; Dongpeng Beverage offers RMB 3 per share and China Mobile RMB 2.51 per share, while Yaxiang Integration, Deye and CATL each pay more than RMB 1 per share.
By sector, chemicals is the most active, with 14 companies including Hengyi Petrochemical, Baofeng Energy and NHU unveiling dividend plans. In machinery, 11 companies including Opt Machine Vision, Jereh and Dongfang Precision announced dividends. Companies in electronics, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, and utilities have also joined. In addition, several companies issued dividend proposal announcements before releasing their interim reports, mostly initiated by controlling shareholders or chairmen.
