PBOC: July M2 Up 7.7%, M1 Up 4%, M0 Up 11.6%; Net Cash Injection RMB 725.5 Billion

The People's Bank of China released its financial statistics report for July 2026. At end-July, broad money (M2) stood at RMB 355.51 trillion, up 7.7% year on year. Narrow money (M1) was RMB 115.46 trillion, up 4% year on year. Currency in circulation (M0) was RMB 14.82 trillion, up 11.6% year on year. Net cash injection in the first seven months amounted to RMB 725.5 billion.
