Russian PM Says GDP Rose 0.6% in First Half of 2026
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said the economy grew 0.6% in the first half of 2026, with nominal GDP reaching nearly 102 trillion rubles (about RMB 7.9 trillion). Federal budget revenues exceeded 18.64 trillion rubles (about RMB 1.4 trillion), with non-oil and gas revenues accounting for over 80%.
The Russian government held a meeting on the 27th to review the report on the execution of the federal budget for the first six months of 2026. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at the meeting that Russia's gross domestic product grew by 0.6% in the first half of 2026, with the nominal value approaching 102 trillion rubles (about RMB 7.9 trillion). Federal budget revenues exceeded 18.64 trillion rubles (about RMB 1.4 trillion), and the share of non-oil and gas revenues surpassed 80%.
